Tired...But a Good Tired

Via fotopedia
Have you ever had one of those days (or weeks) where you're really tired, but it was because you accomplished a lot? I've been having several of those days, and it's been wonderful!

As several of my readers know, I dealt with a lot of health issues this year. I finally came out the other side a little over a month ago, and I'm feeling really good. So good, that I'm finally able to sit at my desk and write the way I've always wanted to. I've done blog posts, worked on editing my draft for THE CHOSEN book 3, and even dusted off a draft of another YA fantasy I started years ago, and haven't looked at in ages.

I'm also back in school. I've been working through a couple of courses in Fostering Success, a set of book marketing courses for authors taught by my friend and mentor, author Melissa Foster. Thanks to her wonderful courses, I'm learning how to introduce myself to new readers. I'm really looking forward to seeing how many find me, and how many start discussing my books. As a YA author, one of my biggest hopes is that kids of all ages will start to discuss my books and characters, as well as their love for reading and maybe even writing. I'd love to get in on the conversations with them, and I invite them to contact me on my blog or social media pages.

So, it has been a tiring week, but a very good week. What have you been up to this week?
