Interview with Author John Rice

Today, I'm happy to introduce YA fantasy author John Rice, whose newly-released novel "Keeper of the Sword" is already receiving rave reviews on Amazon. John's works include  "Keeper of the Sword", "Kingdom of Light Kingdom of Dark", and "Every Night is a Holiday for Death." Welcome John!

When did you start writing?

I've dabbled with writing most of my life but I began a serious effort in the winter of 2007

What is your favorite writing style?

not sure what you mean if you mean genre than i suppose ya fantasy but i like a changing to literary, crime i even have the idea for a western novel

Where do you get your ideas?

from books i read and from things i see when i go for my walks

What’s the best thing about writing?

the ability to create worlds

What’s the worst thing about writing?

finding the right way to say what you want to

What do you do when you’re not writing?

go for walks, travel a little, spend time with family and friends

Do you like reading?

yes and i believe that's what led me to start writing

What are you reading right now?

just finished "The song of fire and ice," by george rr martin
